From Clay to Cup
break down the research process to help it feel less overwhelming
Start by Building a Foundation
The beginning of any research project, large or small, is the gathering of background information, and the generation of research questions that will guide your inquiry.
Get the Good Resources
The library houses databases for every kind of research project you can think of. If you hover over the Research Databases tab at the top, you will see they are organized by subject.
Put it all Together with Citations
Many classes use NoodleTools. This is a comprehensive tool that allows you to house an entire research project in one place. It also works well with your Google Drive.
Others may give you the option to use EasyBib. This is a great web-based tool that gives you free MLA citation-generation, but doesn't include other citation styles without a paid account.

“The greatest part of a writer's time is spent in reading, in order to write: a man will turn over half a library to make one book.”
